Internationally acclaimed religious historian Dr. Albert Raboteau is the keynote speaker at the North Dakota Martin Luther King Holiday Commission’s annual commemoration event. Raboteau will speak on “To the Mountaintop: Martin Luther King’s Prophetic Vision for Today” on Monday, January 15, 2018, 7:00 P.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church (3rd Street and Avenue A) in Bismarck.
Free and open to the public, the event will include music by the Bismarck-Mandan Civic Chorus and a community choir, a book signing by Raboteau, and an exhibit featuring memorabilia from local residents who heard Martin Luther King in person at the historic 1961 Luther League Convention in Florida.
Community Choir practice is at 6:15pm immediately before the event and open to all.
