Employee Match/Giving Programs

Does your employer have a Matching Gift Program?

When you make a gift to the North Dakota Human Rights Coalition, ask your employer, or in most cases the Human Resources Office, if they have a "match giving" program. You may be able to "double" your contribution if they do.

Request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to our organization may be double or possibly tripled! Some companies match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.

For your convenience, we have compiled a list of companies that provide a matching employee charitable donation program.

Wal-Mart

This is a community grants program at the local level of each community where Wal-Mart has a store. Associates must raise money for a cause that benefits the whole community. They then submit a request for their local store to match. The maximum match can exceed $1,000 if more money is raised, with the approval of the store coordinator. Wal-Mart's Volunteerism Always Pays Program (VAP).
