NDHRC in the News Political notebook: Bill Frist would be Wellstone's last choice By Janell Cole and Don Davis Readers can reach Forum reporters The Forum - 12/23/2002 <snip> One more time North Dakota groups still want a human rights commission, not just a Human Rights Division in the Labor Department. The North Dakota Human Rights Coalition says it will introduce a bill in the 2003 Legislature to have both a volunteer commission and the division office. The commission would assist the division in addressing discrimination in the state. There have been bills in the North Dakota Legislature to establish a commission every session since 1997.
