2002-2003 Goals

Work to establish a Human Rights Commission in North Dakota with members from all regions in North Dakota and representing all groups in the North Dakota Human Rights Act (race, color, national origin, religion, gender, age, disability, martial status, receipt of public assistance, and familial status).

Assist in developing local human relations commissions in cities or counties in North Dakota.

Work to increase the number of women, people of color and people with disabilities in leadership positions in state and local government.

Work to add a prohibition of sexual discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation, perceived sexual orientation and/or gender identity in the North Dakota Human Rights Act.
